GOOD AFTERNOON, I HEREBY CALL TO ORDER THE SEPTEMBER TWENTY NINTH TWENTY TWENTY EMERGENCY

[00:00:05]

CALL BOARD MEETING BY VIDEO CONFERENCE OF THE CROWLEY ISD BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND CERTIFY THAT WE ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS FIVE FIVE ONE POINT ZERO FOUR ONE AND FIVE FIVE ONE POINT ZERO FOUR FIVE OF TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE PURSUANT TO PUBLIC NOTICE OF THIS MEETING AND AS ALLOWED BY THE TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL'S ISSUANCE, A TEMPORARY SUSPENSION AND CERTAIN [INAUDIBLE] MEETING LAWS DUE TO THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC AND CLOSURES. I REQUEST THE OFFICIAL ROLL CALL, PLEASE, MR. KIRCHNER.

THANK YOU. THANK YOU, MR. KIRCHNER. THANK YOU ALL FOR JOINING OUR MEETING BY VIDEO CONFERENCE THIS EVENING, WHICH IS ALSO OPEN TO THE PUBLIC TO JOIN.

WE HAVE IMPORTANT BUSINESS TO ATTEND TO.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR DEVICES ARE MUTED.

AGAIN, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR DEVICES ARE MUTED.

IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, PLEASE SEND A TEXT MESSAGE OR EMAIL TO MR. KIRCHNER. AGENDA ITEM TWO POINT O IS OUR OPEN FORUM, AND WE DID NOT HAVE ANYONE SIGNED UP TONIGHT. SO WE WILL MOVE DIRECTLY TO OUR DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ITEM SECTION.

[3.0 Discussion and / or Possible Action Item(s)]

AGENDA ITEM THREE POINT ONE, SAFE RETURN TO SCHOOL PHASE IN SCHEDULE FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING. DR. MCFARLAND.

SO, MADAM PRESIDENT, BOARD MEMBERS, FIRST, I'D JUST LIKE TO START OFF BY JUST SAYING THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND THANK YOU FOR ACTUALLY MEETING AT A TIME THAT'S A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT THAN WHEN WE NORMALLY MEET.

AND ONE OF THE REASONS WHY WE'RE MEETING TODAY IS, AS WE HAVE SAID THROUGHOUT THIS [INAUDIBLE] MOST ACCURATE INFORMATION.

AND WE ALSO HAVE SAID THAT AS WE GET CLOSER TO MAKING THE DECISION, WE WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED. AND SO WE'RE NOW AT THE POINT WHERE WE ARE READY TO MAKE A DECISION RELATIVE TO THE START OF SCHOOL.

WHO WILL WHO WILL BRING [INAUDIBLE].

DR. MCFARLAND, WE'RE LOSING YOUR CONNECTION, SIR.

OK, GO AHEAD AND BRING THE ITEM KIRCHNER.

THANK YOU, SIR. SO, MADAM PRESIDENT, BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND DR.

MCFARLAND, WE ARE WORKING WE'VE BEEN WORKING FOR THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS TO FINALIZE A MODIFIED SCHEDULE FOR A PHASED IN RETURN TO IN-PERSON LEARNING.

[INAUDIBLE] YOU'LL SEE THIS SPELLED OUT.

I'M ALSO GOING TO OPEN UP THE FLIER THAT WE RELEASED YESTERDAY TO LET OUR COMMUNITY KNOW THE BOARD WILL BE VOTING ON THIS THIS AFTERNOON.

THIS PROPOSED PHASE IN SCHEDULE IS DESIGNED TO ALLOW OUR YOUNGEST LEARNERS TO RETURN TO SCHOOL FIRST. AS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS.

ALSO WE'LL CREATE ORIENTATION TIME FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE IN TRANSITION UP TO A NEW SCHOOL BUILDING AND PROVIDE OUR TIME FOR CAMPUSES TO TRAIN STUDENTS ON HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS AS THEY'RE RETURNING TO SCHOOL BUILDINGS.

SO PENDING BOARD APPROVAL THIS AFTERNOON, YOU'LL SEE THE SCHEDULE LISTED THERE.

WE'LL STILL START ON OCTOBER 5TH, LIKE WE'VE BEEN SAYING WITH ALL OF OUR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS, SIXTH GRADE, NINTH GRADE UNTIL 10TH GRADE FOR OCTOBER 5TH AND 6TH.

THEN ON OCTOBER 7TH, IT'LL BE ALL THOSE STUDENTS.

BUT WE'LL ALSO ADD IN SEVENTH GRADE AND 11TH GRADE.

AND THEN ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8TH, OUR EIGHTH GRADERS AND 12TH GRADERS WOULD JOIN US.

AND SO BY THURSDAY, OCTOBER EIGHTH, ALL FAMILIES AND STUDENTS WHO SELECTED IN PERSON LEARNING WOULD BE THERE IN THE SCHOOL BUILDINGS.

THOSE SEVENTH, EIGHTH, 11TH AND 12TH GRADERS WHO HAVE TO WAIT A COUPLE MORE DAYS TO COME BACK TO SCHOOL IN PERSON, THEY'LL STILL DO VIRTUAL LEARNING UP UNTIL THAT TIME.

AND SO THEY WON'T BE MISSING OUT ON ANY INSTRUCTIONS AND INSTRUCTION OR ENGAGEMENT WITH THEIR TEACHERS. THEY'LL JUST BE DOING THAT VIRTUALLY UNTIL THEIR ASSIGNED DAY TO RETURN TO SCHOOL. ARE THERE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROPOSED PHASE-IN SCHEDULE? DOES THE BOARD HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS REGARDING THE PHASE IN SCHEDULE? NO, I HAVE A COMMENT AND A QUESTION.

THE COMMENT IS THANK YOU FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF THE PHASED IN APPROACH.

I THINK IT'S FEASIBLE AND I ALSO THINK IT'S NECESSARY TO DO THIS FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR CHILDREN. MY ONLY QUESTION IS, CAN YOU REMIND ME ON FRIDAY, IS THAT GOING TO BE IN PERSON FOR THE REST OF THE TERM?

[00:05:02]

GREAT, GREAT QUESTION.

THANK YOU FOR-- WE FAILED TO MENTION THAT.

SO FOR, IN-PERSON LEARNERS, THAT WOULD BE FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9TH NEXT WEEK.

THEY WILL STILL BE IN SCHOOL IN PERSON.

VIRTUAL LEARNING, YOU KNOW, WE'VE BEEN DOING ASYNCHRONOUSLY ON FRIDAYS, THAT WILL CONTINUE FOR VIRTUAL LEARNERS, BUT ALL OF OUR IN-PERSON LEARNERS WILL BE IN SCHOOL IN THE BUILDINGS ON FRIDAY. IT'S A GREAT QUESTION.

OK, THANK YOU.

OK, ARE THERE ANY OTHER FURTHER COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS? WHAT AND MAYBE I MISSED IT, THE FIFTH AND SIXTH, WHAT IS THAT JUST BECAUSE THERE IS THERE'S TWO DAYS, BUT I MEAN, IT'S THE FIFTH IS WHEN THEY COME BACK? OK, GREAT QUESTION.

YES SIR. THE FIFTH IS THAT MONDAY.

AND ALL OF THOSE STUDENTS LISTED THERE IN THAT COLUMN WOULD BE THERE FOR THAT DAY SCHOOL AND THE 6TH. IT'S NOT AN EITHER OR.

IT'S THEY ALL COME THE FIFTH.

OK. WELL, IT DIDN'T MATTER.

IT'S JUST SEEMS A LITTLE CONFUSING TO ME, I WOULD JUST PUT, YOU KNOW, OCTOBER 5TH, THEY START BACK IN OCTOBER [INAUDIBLE].

BUT I GUESS.

YEAH, THAT'S ALL FINE.

I'VE LOST MY TRAIN OF THOUGHT.

ALL RIGHT.

WELL, LET US KNOW IF IT COMES BACK TO YOU, MR. RAY.

DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR ANY COMMENTS AT THIS TIME? I DO HAVE--.

OH, GO AHEAD.

BECAUSE THERE WAS SOMETHING ON THE FORM SAYING THAT TEACHERS MAY CHANGE DUE TO SELECTING IN PERSON.

SO I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THAT.

AND ALSO STUDENTS WHO CHOOSE TO STAY HOME VIRTUALLY, HOW WOULD THEIR INSTRUCTION BE DIFFERENT? OR EITHER THE SAME AS THOSE WHO ARE IN PERSON? DR. [INAUDIBLE], MR. KEITH IS ON FROM CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION COULD ANSWER THOSE QUESTIONS.

ALL RIGHT. GO AHEAD, MR. KEITH. ALL RIGHT, THANK YOU, DR.

MCFARLAND. GOOD AFTERNOON, PRESIDENT HALL AND BOARD MEMBERS.

AND SO I THINK THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT QUESTIONS THERE TO ADDRESS.

THE FIRST ONE IS THE QUESTION OF STUDENTS CHANGING TEACHERS IF THEY WENT FROM VIRTUAL TO THE FACE TO FACE OR THE OTHER DIRECTION.

AND IN MOST CASES, THAT WOULD HAPPEN AT THE ELEMENTARY LEVEL.

ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE'VE BEEN ABLE TO DO WITH THE ELEMENTARY THAT WE'RE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS HAVE DEDICATED VIRTUAL TEACHERS AND DEDICATED FACE TO FACE TEACHERS.

SO THOSE ELEMENTARY TEACHERS AREN'T TEACHING BOTH.

AND SO IT COULD EASILY BE A SITUATION WHERE IF A STUDENT ORIGINALLY COMMITTED TO FACE TO FACE IN AUGUST AND MAKES A CHANGE TO VIRTUAL, THAT THEIR TEACHER MAY CHANGE BECAUSE THEY WOULD BE MOVING FROM THE FACE TO FACE TO THE VIRTUAL TEACHER AT THAT GRADE LEVEL.

AND I BELIEVE THE SECOND QUESTION WAS FOR STUDENTS WHO CONTINUE TO LEARN VIRTUALLY WHAT IS THEIR INSTRUCTION LOOK LIKE? AND SO AT THE ELEMENTARY LEVEL, THEY DO HAVE THAT DEDICATED VIRTUAL TEACHER WHO PROVIDES INSTRUCTION FOR THEM ON A VERY SIMILAR SCHEDULE TO WHAT THEY'VE HAD DURING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER. AND AT THE SECONDARY LEVEL, IT VARIES A BIT BY CLASS TO CLASS.

THERE WILL BE SOME COURSES WHERE STUDENTS ARE CO-SEATED, SO THEY RECEIVE INSTRUCTION BOTH PERSONALLY AND FACE TO FACE AT THE SAME TIME.

WE HAVE THAT GOING ON IN THE CLASSROOMS. AND THEN OTHER CLASSES, DEPENDING ON THE SCHEDULE WHERE STUDENTS MAY HAVE A FULLY-- OR TEACHERS MAY HAVE A FULLY VIRTUAL SECTION DEVOTED SPECIFICALLY TO THOSE VIRTUAL STUDENTS.

A LOT OF IT DEPENDS ON THE MASTER SCHEDULE, THE NUMBER OF SECTIONS AND THE NUMBER OF [INAUDIBLE] THAT THAT TEACHER HAS.

MR. KEITH, I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS YOUR QUESTION, BUT SO WHEN STUDENTS REPORT FOR THE FIRST TIME NEXT WEEK AND MR. KIRCHNER, YOU MAY HAVE SAID THIS, I'M SORRY.

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS AND LIKE THE SCHEDULE, AS THEY TRADITIONALLY KNOW IT.

WOULD PARENTS JUST NEED, OR STUDENTS AND PARENTS NEED TO JUST CONSULT SKYWARD TO KNOW, LIKE, WHICH CLASSES THEY REPORT TO? THE LOCATIONS, YOU KNOW, OF THEIR CLASSES AND IF THERE ARE ANY SCHEDULING CHANGES BECAUSE THEY ARE GOING IN PERSON AS OPPOSED TO VIRTUAL NOW.

WHEN CAN WE ANTICIPATE THAT THOSE I GUESS UPDATES WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO VIEW IN SKYWARD? SO THOSE WILL BE AVAILABLE IN SKYWARD AND THERE ARE-- THERE'S NOT MANY SITUATIONS WHERE A STUDENT WOULD BE MAKING A SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE TO THEIR SCHEDULE.

SO LIKE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL, FOR EXAMPLE, THOSE STUDENTS WILL REALLY CONTINUE TO FOLLOW THEIR SAME DAILY SCHEDULE.

SO FOR MOST OF THEM, WHAT THEY SEE IN SKYWARD RIGHT NOW IS WHAT THEY WOULD BE COMING BACK TO WHEN THEY RETURNED DURING THE WEEK OF OCTOBER [INAUDIBLE].

OK. I DO HAVE A QUESTION.

THERE WAS DISCUSSION, I THINK, AT THE LAST MEETING ABOUT, OH, WELL, NOT WELL, ANYWAY, A

[00:10:09]

MEMBER MENTIONED THAT SOME STUDENTS SEEM TO HAVE GOTTEN LETTERS SAYING THAT THEY WERE HAD TO COME BACK FOR [INAUDIBLE] COURSES.

IS THAT CORRECT OR WHAT'S--? IS ANYONE GOING TO BE FORCED TO COME BACK BECAUSE OF CERTAIN CLASSES OR HOW ARE WE HANDLING THAT? WE DO HAVE SOME CITY COURSES THAT ARE FACE TO FACE OR THERE'S REQUIRED FACE TO FACE COMPONENT, AND WE ARE KIND OF WORKING THROUGH THAT ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.

BUT THERE ARE COURSES THAT ARE ONLY OFFERED IN A FACE TO FACE FORMAT.

OK. AND WILL BUSSES, ARE THOSE [INAUDIBLE] FOR THOSE STUDENTS THAT HAVE TO TRAVEL FROM THE HIGH SCHOOLS? YES, AND SO AS WE KNOW, WE RUN SHUTTLES FROM HIGH SCHOOLS.

AND SO WE WILL CONTINUE TO RUN THOSE SHUTTLES FROM THE HIGH SCHOOLS.

SO IF STUDENTS ARE VIRTUAL LEARNERS BUT ARE NEEDING TO GO FACE TO FACE FOR [INAUDIBLE], THEY WOULD HAVE TO GET THEIR TRANSPORTATION TO THE HIGH SCHOOL OR TO THE [INAUDIBLE] BUILDING. AND MR. KIRCHNER, I KNOW THAT THERE ARE SCHEDULES FOR, I GUESS, ORIENTATION OR BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION DISSEMINATED BY EACH OF THE CAMPUSES, AND WHERE WOULD OUR PARENTS GO FOR THAT IF THEY HAD MISSED THAT INFORMATION? ABSOLUTELY. SO OUR CAMPUSES THIS WEEK ARE ACTUALLY HOSTING MORE-- DID YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID? YES, MA'AM. I BELIEVE I GOT IT ALL.

OUR CAMPUSES THIS WEEK AND ACTUALLY SOME ARE BEING HELD TONIGHT IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THIS BOARD MEETING, CAMPUS BASED ORIENTATIONS FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO WERE COMING BACK IN PERSON TO LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE SCHEDULES, THE ROOM ASSIGNMENTS, ALL OF THOSE THINGS THAT TYPICALLY HAPPENED DURING A BACK TO SCHOOL TIME.

AND THEN THIS EVENING WE'LL BE NOTIFYING DISTRICT WIDE ALL PARENTS THE RESULTS OF TONIGHT'S BOARD MEETING.

ALSO, SOME OTHER EXPECTATIONS ARE NEW.

I JUST FINISHED UP A DAY IN THE LIFE VIDEO FOR THOSE IN-PERSON LEARNERS SO THEY'LL SEE WHAT WILL BE HAPPENING FROM HOME TO THE BUS STOP TO THE BUILDING.

THOSE [INAUDIBLE] SHUTTLES THAT DR.

[INAUDIBLE] ASKED ABOUT ARE MENTIONED IN THERE.

CAFETERIA. SO JUST KIND OF GETTING EVERYONE UP TO SPEED ON WHAT NEXT MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY WILL LOOK LIKE AS THEY COME BACK.

OK, MS. HALL CAN I ADD ONE OTHER ELEMENT FOR THIS EXHIBIT AND MOTION? YES. SO IN THE RECOMMENDATION DOWN THERE, YOU'LL ALSO, IN ADDITION TO APPROVING THIS PHASE IN SCHEDULE FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING, YOU'LL ALSO SEE APPROVAL FOR THE DISTRICT TO SUBMIT A REQUEST TO THE TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY TO EXTEND THE START OF OUR TWENTY TWENTY ONE SCHOOL YEAR TRANSITION BEYOND THE FOUR WEEK LIMIT AS PRESENTED.

SO YOU'LL SEE AND HEAR AN ATTACHMENT.

YOU'LL RECALL THAT THE BOARD ORIGINALLY APPROVED A FOUR WEEK TRANSITION.

WE'RE STILL, OF COURSE, STARTING SCHOOL ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 5TH, BUT NOT EVERY GRADE LEVEL STARTING MONDAY, OCTOBER 5TH.

SO BECAUSE THERE'S A FEW EXTRA DAYS THERE THAT WE'RE PUSHING THOSE STUDENTS BACK FOR THEIR RETURN TO IN-PERSON LEARNING, WE JUST WANTED TO GO AHEAD AND SUBMIT THIS TO TEA SO KNOW OUR PLAN. IT'S OF COURSE, IT'S NOT ANOTHER FOUR WEEK EXTENSION IS JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS FOR THOSE SEVENTH, EIGHTH, 11TH AND 12TH GRADERS.

SO YOU CAN SEE THAT REQUEST THAT'S IN THERE THAT WE'D ALSO ASK APPROVAL FOR TONIGHT.

THANK YOU, MR. KIRCHNER, FOR THAT CLARIFICATION.

I HAVE A COUPLE MORE THINGS.

THE STORES SEEM TO HAVE UNIFORMS OUT RIGHT NOW BECAUSE OF THE TIME OF YEAR.

IS THIS SOMETHING THAT WE'VE THOUGHT ABOUT AT ALL FOR THE YOUNGER KIDS AND HAVE A PLAN FOR? YES, IT IS. WE ARE-- WE DO HAVE UNIFORM CLOSETS AVAILABLE ON MOST CAMPUSES.

AND SO IF THIS PERSON, WHOEVER IS IN NEED OF UNIFORMS, THEY CONTACT OUR CAMPUS PRINCIPAL , THEN WE WILL WORK FROM THE CAMPUS PRINCIPAL FORWARD TO TRY TO GET UNIFORMS IF THEY DON'T HAVE THEM THERE ON THAT CAMPUS.

BUT WE DID MAKE PROVISIONS FOR UNIFORMS FOR CAMPUSES ACROSS THE DISTRICT.

OK, AND THEN JUST TO CLARIFY.

SO I THINK THE--.

[00:15:04]

IS IT EVER PERIODICALLY FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR PARENTS WILL HAVE THE OPTION OF, IF THEY SO CHOOSE, SENDING THEM BACK ONLINE OR TO VIRTUAL? IS IT EVERY SIX WEEKS OR WAS THAT HOW IT'S SET UP? [INAUDIBLE].

YES, THAT IS CORRECT.

THERE IS AN ELECTION PERIOD THAT OCCURS AT THE END OF EVERY I THINK THE LAST TWO WEEKS IS WHAT WE SAID OF EVERY SIX WEEKS.

THEY CAN MAKE THAT SELECTION AND WE WOULD THEN ORGANIZE AROUND THEIR CHOICES FOR THE NEXT SIX WEEKS. AND THEN FOR STUDENT IDS, WHEN THEY COME BACK, THE STUDENTS THAT ARE ON CAMPUS, I'M ASSUMING THAT THEY'LL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE THEIR PICTURE OR WHATEVER TO SET UP THEIR I.D.S, DO THE VIRTUAL STUDENTS THEN HAVE THE OPTION AT THEIR LEISURE TO COME AND GET THOSE IDS, OR WILL THAT NOT BE NECESSARY FOR THOSE WHO ARE DOING VIRTUAL? AND THAT'S SOMETHING THAT WE'LL DISCUSS WITH THE PRINCIPLES.

WE DO KNOW THAT WHEN THE FACE TO FACE STUDENTS WILL DEFINITELY GET THEIR IDS WHEN THEY RETURN TO CAMPUS, AND THEN WE'LL DISCUSS THE PROCESS FOR THE VIRTUAL STUDENTS TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT AS WELL. AND WE'LL BE SHARING IT WITH THE VIRTUAL STUDENTS AT THAT TIME.

OK, GO AHEAD, MISS ROBINSON.

OK, SO YOU KNOW THOSE PARENTS WHO ARE WAITING TO RETURN IN PERSON BECAUSE THEY JUST WANT TO SEE THE COVID NUMBERS.

SO WE DO HAVE A DASHBOARD.

HAVE YOU EVER SPOKEN ABOUT THAT? BECAUSE I KNOW THERE'S A LINK WHERE YOU CAN SEE ALL THE CAMPUSES, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S BEEN PUBLISHED OR IF WE EVER ADDRESSED IT.

SO OUR DASHBOARD JUST WENT LIVE LAST WEEK AND IT'S BY CAMPUS AND IT LISTS STAFF CASES, STUDENT CASES, BUT ALSO THE STAFF RECOVERIES AND STUDENT RECOVERIES AND THE COMMUNICATION WE'RE SENDING OUT AFTER TONIGHT'S BOARD MEETING, THERE'S A BLURB IN THERE ABOUT THE DASHBOARD AND LETTING PARENTS KNOW HOW TO FIND IT AND HOW THEY CAN TRACK IT.

WE'LL BE UPDATING THAT EVERY MONDAY.

THE TEA YOU PROBABLY ALSO SEEN ALSO HAS A DASHBOARD.

I THINK THEIRS GETS UPDATED EVERY WEDNESDAY.

SO OUR THOUGHT IS THAT YOU'LL SEE CROWLEY ISD LATEST INFORMATION FROM CROWLEY ISD ON MONDAY AND THEN YOU'LL SEE THE TEA UPDATE ON WEDNESDAY.

BUT A GREAT QUESTION, AND THAT WILL BE-- IT'S ON OUR WEBSITE NOW, BUT WE HAVEN'T PUBLICIZED IT OFFICIALLY, BUT IT WILL BE COMING OUT IN THIS EVENING'S NEWSLETTER.

OK, ANY OTHER QUESTIONS? AND DR.

MCFARLAND, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE BEFORE WE OPEN FLOOR FOR A MOTION? NO, MA'AM, THANK YOU. OK, THIS IS A POSSIBLE ACTION ITEM.

IS THERE A MOTION FROM THE BOARD? I WILL RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE PHASE-IN SCHEDULE FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING TO BEGIN THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 5TH AND APPROVAL FOR THE DISTRICT TO SUBMIT A REQUEST TO THE TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY TO EXTEND THE START OF THE TWENTY TWENTY, TWENTY TWENTY ONE SCHOOL YEAR TRANSITION BEYOND THE FOUR WEEK LIMIT AS PRESENTED.

THANK YOU, MS. [INAUDIBLE], FOR A MOTION.

AND WE DO NOT HAVE EXECUTIVE SESSION TONIGHT, SO I DON'T BELIEVE THERE'S ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD.

BUT ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD, I DO WANT TO THANK YOU, DR.

MCFARLAND, FOR YOUR LEADERSHIP, THE TEAM FOR ALL THE COUNTLESS NIGHTS, DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS OF LOGISTICS AND PLANNING.

I'M VERY EXCITED AND ME PERSONALLY CANNOT WAIT TO SEND MINE BACK.

HE NEEDS TO BE FACE TO FACE.

BUT I'M LOOKING VERY EXCITED, LOOKING VERY FORWARD TO BEGINNING SCHOOL AND HAVING OUR STUDENTS BACK WITH OUR TEACHERS.

OUR THOUGHTS AND OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH OUR TEACHERS, OUR STAFFS, OUR FAMILIES, PRAYING FOR YOUR SAFETY AND FOR YOUR HEALTH DURING THIS TIME AND KNOWING THAT ALL THE DECISIONS THAT WERE MADE WERE MADE WITH A LOT OF DELIBERATION AND CONSIDERATION.

[00:20:06]

AND I THINK ALSO, I CAN SAY A TEST WITH EMPATHY.

SO WE'RE HERE FOR YOU AND I DON'T KNOW.

GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK.

I GUESS THIS IS THE APPROPRIATE THING.

DR. MCFARLAND, ARE THERE ANY COMMENTS THAT YOU LIKE BEFORE WE DISMISS OR ADJOURN? NO, MA'AM. JUST THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING OUR STUDENTS BACK SOON. ALL RIGHT.

WELL, WITH NO FURTHER BUSINESS TO BRING BEFORE THIS BOARD, WE ARE ADJOURNED AT FOUR FIFTY THREE P.M. HEY, ANTHONY, THERE ARE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS ON THERE THAT OTHER PEOPLE PUT UP. AND, I DON'T KNOW, MAYBE JUST THEY SEEMED [INAUDIBLE] REASONABLE.

IN THE CHAT. ALL RIGHT.

THANK YOU. THANK YOU, SIR. WE'LL MAKE SURE WE COPY THOSE AND [INAUDIBLE] THOSE QUESTIONS.

YOU CAN ALSO SEND AN EMAIL TO INFORMATION AT CROWLEY ISD TX DOT ORG OR TO ME, I GET BOTH OF THOSE AND WE'LL MAKE SURE WE GET THOSE EVERYTHING ANSWERED.

ALL RIGHT, THANKS. THANK YOU ALL.

I THANK YOU, GUYS.

THANK YOU. BYE BYE.
